Ning Jizhe, male, Han nationality, is a native of Hefei City, Anhui Province. He was born in 1956, entered the work force in 1974, and graduated from Hefei University of Technology in 1982. From 2006 to 2007, he was Assistant Director of Research Office of the State Council. From 2007 to 2013 he was Deputy Director of the Research Office of the State Council. From 2013 to 2015 he was Director of the Research Office of the State Council. In 2015 he was named Deputy Director, National Development and Reform Commission. He is an alternate member of the 19th CPC Central Committee.
